Korean attractions use several different ticket models. Identify the model first, then compare prices.
A Gyeongbokgung daytime visit is ordinary admission. Changdeokgung's Secret Garden is capacity-controlled and scheduled. Lotte World separates park admission from Magic Pass. Haeundae Blueline Park makes route, departure station and boarding time part of the product. Discover Seoul Pass bundles multiple attractions under a validity window.

1. General Admission: Buy the Right Day, Then Check Hours
Gyeongbokgung Palace and the N Seoul Tower Observatory are useful examples of straightforward general admission.
For Gyeongbokgung's regular daytime visit, the current official English guide lists admission and seasonal hours rather than a compulsory general timed slot. Special night openings and events can use separate booking conditions, so read the event notice if that is the experience you want.

N Seoul Tower's current English FAQ says the observatory does not require an advance reservation; visitors can buy a same-day ticket. Operating hours can change with weather or other conditions, so same-day information still matters.

2. Timed or Restricted Entry: The Session Is Part of the Ticket
Changdeokgung Secret Garden is not the same transaction as simply entering Changdeokgung Palace. The garden operates by scheduled session and requires the relevant garden access plus separate palace admission under the current visitor rules.
The booking therefore needs three details to line up: date, language/session and palace access.

The National Museum of Korea Children's Museum shows another version of timed access. The museum's current reservation guide requires online booking for the Children's Museum and opens individual reservations from 00:00 fourteen days before the visit. General museum admission and a children's timed session therefore need to be treated separately.

3. Theme Parks: Park Admission and Queue Products Are Separate Purchases
Lotte World Adventure sells park admission products and Magic Pass separately. The current Magic Pass page explicitly states that Magic Pass is separate from the admission ticket required to enter the park.

Everland uses a different system. Current visitor guidance explains that selected popular rides use Smart Reservation through the official app during specified periods. Registering tickets in the app and reserving a ride are separate from purchasing park admission.

4. Observatory and Premium Add-Ons: Read the Product Name Line by Line
SEOUL SKY shows why one building can contain several ticket products. General admission, Fast Pass, aquarium packages and Sky Bridge products are not interchangeable.
The current ticket page says Fast Pass allows immediate entry without prior reservation. It also warns that copies or screenshots of tickets are not accepted for entry. Timed-ticket visitors should arrive by their entry time.

When a seller uses words such as Fast Pass, package, tour, bridge, observatory or admission, copy the exact product name into your itinerary. Similar-looking names can represent very different access.
5. Moving Attractions: Route and Boarding Time Are Part of the Purchase
Haeundae Blueline Park combines sightseeing with transport. Beach Train, Sky Capsule and package products have different operating logic.
The current English information says the Beach Train reservation time is the first boarding time. Sky Capsule tickets use a designated time window. A small amount of on-site inventory may be available, but sold-out online inventory should not be treated as a promise that a ticket will appear at the station.

6. Travel Passes: Test the Pass Against the Itinerary You Already Want
Discover Seoul Pass currently advertises free admission at more than 70 attractions. The official site lists four main products: 72-Hour, 120-Hour, Pick 3 Basic and Pick 3 Theme Park.

Prices and benefits can change. Before buying, list the attractions you already intend to visit, add their ordinary admission prices, confirm that the exact product or access layer is included, then check whether those visits fit inside the pass validity window.

7. Before Payment, Check the Entry Object You Will Actually Use
The checkout page should answer four questions:
A third-party voucher may need exchange at a ticket desk. A mobile ticket may have to open live in an app. A timed product may not accept a screenshot. Payment success confirms the purchase; the entry instructions confirm how you get through the gate.
The night before, open the actual ticket—not the shopping app homepage—and check the operating status, entry time, QR or voucher, ID rule and any separate program or add-on.
