K-pop ticketing starts before the seat map opens.
For an overseas fan, the important chain is official concert notice → named seller → correct Global route → fanclub and identity verification → ticket sale → confirmation → actual ticket → entry ID.
Korea has no single universal K-pop ticket site. NOL World, Ticketlink Global, Melon Ticket Global and other sellers can all appear. The artist, promoter or organizer's official concert notice tells you which one applies to this show.

1. Start with the Official Concert Notice
Search the artist's official channels, label, promoter or ticket announcement before opening a seller. The notice should identify the authorized seller and the exact ticket schedule.
Save the announcement itself, not only a screenshot shared by another fan. Ticket platforms change branding and page layout, and old instructions can remain online long after the process has changed.
The event notice is also where you confirm whether the sale is domestic, Global or split between both.
2. Global Pages Can Have Their Own Verification and Presale Schedule
A Global page is not always the Korean ticket page translated into English.
Current 2026 Melon Ticket notices show Korean and Global pages using different fanclub verification periods and presale dates. They also state that verification completed on the Global page can bind the buyer to the Global route for that presale.
For example, a 2026 NCT 127 notice listed separate Korean and Global verification windows and separate presale dates, while requiring the official fanclub membership name, Melon Ticket reservation name and actual attendee name to match.
Choose the route you are actually able to use. If the concert provides a designated Global process for overseas buyers, complete verification and ticketing on that route according to the event notice.

3. Build the Account Around the Passport Name You Will Bring
Put your passport beside you when the account or identity-verification form asks for your name.
Pay attention to the exact spelling and how the form separates family name and given name. When a concert later checks purchaser identity, the account profile, reservation name and accepted ID may need to align.
Not every concert checks every link in the same way. The event notice decides what is required. Matching the information from the start avoids a repair problem after a high-demand sale.
If a passport verification service is used, complete it before the ticketing window. Do not assume there will be time to fix an identity step while the queue is already moving.
4. Fanclub Membership and Presale Verification Are Separate Steps
Some concerts require several gates before the presale:
Presale application, if the artist requires one
Ticket-platform fanclub verification
The actual presale
Write each deadline into a calendar with the timezone. A missed verification deadline cannot be recovered when the ticket sale opens.
If membership, ticket-platform verification and presale all use separate dates, store them as separate calendar events. That is safer than keeping only the final sale time.
This walkthrough is useful for seeing the rhythm of a NOL/Interpark-style booking session. Treat the screens as orientation and the current event notice as the rulebook.
5. On Ticket Day, Remove Decisions Before the Queue Opens
Confirm the sale time in KST, Korea Standard Time, then convert it to your local time before the day of sale.
Know your acceptable price tier and two or three seating areas. If the first choice disappears, you should already know whether to accept another section, try another performance date or leave the sale.
Read the actual queue rule. Some current NOL event pages warn that one account receives one queue order and that simultaneous queue attempts across devices or browsers can affect the existing queue.

If the account, verification and seat selection work but the final card authorization fails, separate that from the concert-ticketing problem. Repeatedly redoing the identity steps does not fix a card failure.
6. Payment Success Is Followed by Ticket Delivery and Entry Rules
Immediately after purchase, save the reservation number and check both the reservation history and the confirmation email.
Then read how the ticket becomes usable. Depending on the event, it may be a mobile ticket, physical pickup, a separate identity check or a combination.
Do not use a confirmation screenshot as a substitute unless the event explicitly says it is accepted. For a mobile-ticket event, open the actual ticket before you leave for the venue. Heavy mobile traffic near a large stadium can make last-minute loading slower.
7. Sold Out, Resale and Official Alternatives
After a sellout, check the official event channels for canceled inventory, additional-seat releases, restricted-view releases, cinema Live Viewing or official streaming when offered.
A resale screenshot proves that somebody has a reservation; it does not prove that a different person can use it. Event rules on transfer, purchaser identity and original ID decide that.
Major Korean concerts can prohibit unauthorized transfers, proxy purchases, forged tickets and commercial scalping. If the event uses strict name matching, the resale question is an entry-rule question first.

8. The Night Before the Concert
This is also the time to save the venue entrance and pickup location. A correct ticket is less useful if the pickup counter closes before you find it.
